Best Flea Control Methods
We have been struggling for awhile to find a flea control method that really has long-lasting results. For awhile we were using Bio Spot (mostly because its cheap) with some effects, but it always seemed to 'wear off' before 1 month was up... We are considering using an Rx flea method - what is everyone using? Any hollistic treatments that work?

I use Garlic on my two. You can buy quite a substantial tub reasonably cheap. You can get it from any Feed supplier, you can get it as powder, shavings. It works for me.

RE: Best Flea Control Methods
I’m struggling with fleas now on my dog. I’ve always used front line and the dog has never had fleas. Recently I noticed the tell-tell signs of fleas just above her tail. I renewed her with Front line but the fleas were still there a couple of weeks later. I covered her with flea powder and gave her a good grooming but with little effect.

She has always had garlic in her diet so this is not the answer.

I’ve tried another brand of spot treatment which didn’t work either.

Has anyone any other suggestions or have encountered this problem with their dog?

I don't have a dog so I researched and found that this article was very helpful with learning how to control fleas: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?...94&aid=591
