Cats that act more like Dogs than Cats
I have a cat her name is Tabitha Anne (Tabby) for short, sometimes I think she was raised by a mama dog. While living in Oregon, she decided she wanted to adopt my husband and I, so we made her apart of our family. Anyway, Tabby acts so much like a dog in some ways and a cat in others. She does not react in any way to "kitty kitty". She simply looks at you as if you are crazy. She comes to me when I say "Tabby c'mere". She sits on the side of the tub while I am showering and I splash her with water and she does nothing. I can not put a closed door between her and I in the house. If I do she will meow and cry the whole time the door is seperating her from me. I am so glad that she and our two chihuahuas (Lilly and Angel) get along so well, they play and chase each other around as if all of them were biological sisters and best friends. They all sleep with us. Has anyone else experienced these or any other uncat like personalities?

I have a kitten and a couple of strays that I feed that will follow me around if I go outside. They do not typically run off but they will follow me great distances just like my dogs do. I always thought that was a bit strange for a cat much less 3.

My cat is the same. He follows me for ages, although he's grown out of this a bit now after we lost him when he did it.

But he rubs his head all over my face and then when I start stroking him he rolls over so that I can tickle his belly. Plus he doesn't care about having his fur rubbed the wrong way at all!!
