Also she is scared of cats!!!!!!

Yes often dogs get funny with others on lead, a dog off the lead doesnt feel that they can get away if they need and the lead puts them in a position where they dont feel secure. Happens alot with small dogs who feel trapped and nervous when approached by bigger more threatening dogs whos owners dont control them properly. The best behaved dog can end up with this problem if the situation is so. They also feel so much from how we hold the leads and how we are feeling at the time, which could be nerves from the dogs we are all meeting or just having a rough day. Often they wish to protect us if they are not 100% secure that we are in contol. Its important to be firm but still in control and doing it all with a loose lead so as not to give off the wrong signals.

Its good that a dog respects cats, the dogs that dont, usually have other problems in a range of areas and havent learned basic socialisation and manners, even if their owners dont want to admit it or cant see it themselves lol. Some breeds are more driven though to chase and sometimes kill, some ok with their own home cats but not others, its all about the owner and control though. One needs to know their dogs well either way.

My dog likes some dogs, they always hangout, but there is one dog he hates, he always barks and I always need to hold him, I keep him in my house.

Bella is ok with some dogs but barks at others, I tell people that see just loves the sound of her own voice. I find that some people get funny towards her as she's an 11 year old German Shepherd Dog, now she's getting older she's more laid back when shes out and about. Bella can sniff cats now but I think her eyesight is not as good.Smile

Live each day as your last because one day it will be. Don't deprive anyone of hope because it maybe all that they have left.

I know someone that has a few dogs and remarkably they all seem to get along fine but I think that could be because they grew up together although I have heard of some grows that grew up together and didn't get along.
