How is your dog with other dogs? Is every other dog their new best friend or are they a bit more selective in choosing their canine companions?

I don't know. They really aren't around a lot of other dogs, but I think they're okay. They were pretty good when I took them to the vet.

Now, I used to have a beagle. Gotta tell ya, she was aristocratic. NO dog was good enough for her, but all other dogs loved her. This one time, one of my sister's new dogs loved her and kept moving next to her. Tammy was on one side of the outside sofa and Free jumped out and laid next to her. Tammy got up and went to the other side of the couch. Free followed her. lol Tammy looked so indignant. It was hysterical.

My Pandora is a German/Australian shepherd mix and she is actually quite unnerved by other dogs. She is not really aggressive but definitely does not like to share her territory (which is us and our home) with any other animal. We have many animals so somehow she manages to deal with it and never picks on them but she pretty much cold shoulders them and stands her ground if they impede on her space.

My dog is a mix of other kinds and loves just about everyone and every animal. We even caught him outside playing with a squirrel.

My dog loves other dogs- and she likes other cats too!

It's sweet- she is a pure bred boxer a big dog but she loves other animals.!

My chihuahuas dont like other dogs apart from there own, and have to watch when am out they bark and growl but its getting better with trainning!

My dog is so friendly to others dog.
He loves all the dogs & also loves some cats.

My dog is a right pain, if he sees a dog before I do he's off to say hello. But if they try to hump him, or show any dominance, he'll bring them down a peg or two. He loves running with other dogs, especially when they're busy playing fetch with their people, he has to run along side barking and growling (that's how he plays!)
He's recently started growling at the cat tho, I think he's getting a little too big for his boots...

I think for me / mine its a case of some like every dog they meet and others prefer their own company and some peace/quiet but that said they are all respectful of others regardless of how they personally feel, I dont allow otherwise or it could be dangerous. I guess as with us humans we dont all like everyone or get on with everyone but manners and toleration is usually expected and it should be the same for them too. With good basic training/socialisation, we have no problems thankfully. Sadly its not the same for everyone

Hi my dogs a bit of a mix, she used to be brilliant with dogs i used to take her out with another staffie, and an english bull terrier and they were fine together, they were all off leads in field, but i find when on a lead she isnt that good, dont know what it is, is it cause they feel threatened on a lead because they havent got the freedom???
Also she is scared of cats!!!!!!
