Fleas and Kittens
Is there any tips that you guys could share on how to get rid of fleas on a small kitten without having to resort to any pesticide products?

Thanks in advance for your help!

How about advantage? from the vet. Also flea collars? I keep looking for them on the kittens- and have not found any yet- I hope I don't.

Unless you dip[ the little guy in oil, which could be comical and tragically messy at the same time, I can' think of any way to get rid of fleas without using a pesticide.

If you have some citronella essential oil, you might be able to use a bit of that to repel the fleas, but then they will look for another food source, meaning they might find their way to the humans nearby.

Everything will have pesticides in even if it is only a small amount.

RE: Fleas and Kittens
I just got a tiny kitten about 4 maybe 5 days ago, and the day I got her, I brought her home and gave her a bath, I let the water run all over her tiny body, and all the fleas she had washed down the drain, I made sure because i checked her coat 3 times before I washed her one last time with a kitten shampoo. Of course you can use a kitten flea collar also, just depends on what you wish to do.

Lil kittens are so squirmy, so I have never tried a flea comb on a kitten, but I am sure if they were able to be restrained long enough it would work.
