Ghost Chasing
Okay, that probably sounded far more interesting than it is but all of my cats will just freak out at random and start chasing invisible things throughout the house batting the air and spinning out on the kitchen floor.

Do any of your cats do this and does anyone know what they are chasing?

My cats have never done this but I would imagine it's very entertaining watching them!

I think the only time I saw my cats do this was after a good does of catnip! I always thought it was part of the "trip"!

It definitely appears to be some kind of trip that is for sure. It is so very entertaining when they do this to watch though one of mine without fail while chasing this phantom runner always seems to scare herself with her reflection in the sliding glass door (which just adds to my amusement).

My two younger ones seem to play at the drop of a hat. They too have done some crazy stuff for no reason at all. I thought having them fixed would slow them down but in their case it has not.

LOL...that is really cute! Mine do that too...sometimes I think they're after nothing, and then when I look again it's some teeny tiny bug or something. The baby, Knives, keeps letting his tail get the best of him...thinking some strange black thing is chasing him!

RE: Ghost Chasing
This is so funny, I guess some kitties just have good imagination - when there is nothing to chase, they will make something up and chase it. Big Grin I thought my cats were chasing a ghost a couple of times, but those were flies or bugs I did not see at first.
