Question Problems listing found cat
has anyone else had problems listing founds on the register?

I've been trying since saturday to put up a lost cat but with no luck.

I keep getting service temporarily unavailable.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

RE: Problems listing found cat
Hi Sarah,
Sorry you are having trouble using the system I have checked and a few found pets have been listed today and I have not come across any errors in the members section that would prevent this form happening.

Could you let me have a screenshot of the error or if the error kicks up an error message, a sit should have an id number next to the error message so I can see what the problem could be.

Many Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

I'll give it another try shortly. The number that came up was 27 if that helps any in the meantime.

Will let you know what happens when I try to list again.

Thanks

Sarah

RE: Problems listing found cat
Hi Sarah,
I have sourced the problem and it happened when someone submits the found pet and they were using quotes or flying commas in the listing. This has now been corrected, so can you try and add the found pet again for me, and apologies again as this was an oversight by myself!

Thanks
Steve

RE: Problems listing found cat
I've just tried to list a cat I've found and have had the same problems error 27. I would really like to find the owner for this kitty, I just found her last night but it appears she has been lost for awhile. She's painfully thin

I would also like to make a suggestion that it be made easier to search through the lost pets by county or post code as it is rather difficult, not to mention extremely daunting looking through pages and pages of listings as the by county links do not work.

The cat was taken to the vet today and discovered that she is 12 years old despite having the body size of a 4-6 month old kitten, she is someone's pet and I would really like to be able to return her to them, as lovely as she is.

Hi,
I have got to the bottom of this, it is a problem with the size of the photo being uploaded, so I have added a max size restriction on photos when they are uploaded, so if the photograph is too large a file size, you should get a message asking you to resize the photograph as it is too large.
