Is anyone on here a breeder? What types of dogs do you breed, and why?

Round by me there are mostly Staffordshire bull terrier breeders, but dont know how many are proper breeders.

I intend to breed Willow my OES once she has completed all her health screening. I have already found a suitable stud dog who has a very good pedigree and all relevant health checks are in place.

I simply want to breed the very best I can.

I have in the past bred German Shepherd Dogs & Bearded Collies-all had the available health tests done before being bred from.

I do intend to breed at least one litter of Border Collies to continue the bloodlines that are behind my dogs that are very special. I have a bitch, but her hip score is way too high to consider breeding from so she will be spayed & I will be buying a bitch puppy from health tested parents to breed from to either my young dog(after his last two health tests have been completed satisfactorily)&/or his brother in the Netherlands(he has had some of health testing done & has super hips & elbows)

I have three entire male Cavaliers, but will not be breeding from them at this time, as two have Syringomyelia(precludes them from even being considered for breeding from) & the other apart from being too young & needs all his health tests to be done.
