Getting a puppy in 3 weeks (bichon x shih tzu - not big dog) and I have been reading a training book that mentions alot of the big brands dog food can have all sorts of chemicals and bad stuff in them.

I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on what is the best type of food to feed her. I think I will give her a mixture of wet and dry to keep variety and the breeder is giving us some of what she is eating just nowbut there is so many different kinds its hard to know where to begin!
