In June 2010 Ray Baxter was taking his 7 year old English Bull Terrier, Lucy for her daily walk on the Bongs in Halton View, Widnes, when the dog suddenly had a heart attack and tragically died. Ray had to carry his dog about half a mile home. After their sad loss, in August, Ray and his wife Pat where excited to have a new English Bull terrier pup and called her Gypsy, but within a few weeks, Gypsy began to have seizures. The vets could do nothing for her, and Pat and Ray sadly had to have her put to sleep in September. You would think that would be enough bad luck for any dog owner, but 6 weeks ago they became the proud owners of another terrier puppy who they named Ruby.
On Saturday 14th May, our little English Bull Terrier, Ruby, was stolen from Moorfield Road, Widnes, England. She has a Plain White coat, with a Black Patch on her Right Eye and a little Eye-brow above it and a half white half pink nose. Sadly she isnt Microchipped or Tatooed but thanks to her distinctive markings, we think it will really benefit, recognising her.
